SPEAKERS

Collin, Brandon

00:04

Music. Welcome to Oh

Speaker 1  00:06

brother, a podcast where we try to figure it all out with your hosts, Brandon and Collin on this week's show, weather whiplash ahoy.

00:21

Ahoy. Look. It going?

00:25

Fine. How are you

Speaker 1  00:29

well? Things have gone last week was not a good week.

Brandon  00:38

Yeah, it sounds like it did not go particularly well.

Collin  00:43

How? No, well, it didn't help that one of our team members here in our local area, their their schedule at their other job pivoted them from working mostly afternoons to almost exclusively evening times. So which is when I do most of this kind of work, yeah, and so all of a sudden it was like, Oh, I don't have, like, from like, five to 10pm it was like, I'm on call, and I'm doing like, lots of walks in the evenings and stuff, because last week, for some reason, was insanely busy in our smaller service area. There was no overlap. But this year, with our two service areas and when people needed us, which I'm kind of thankful for, but it just means we got, like, a really long tail of like, of busy, of there's this big hump where it's spring break and everyone's going crazy, it's like, ah, and it's intense for like, a week, and then that goes away in one service area, and then it kind of picks up in the other and then there's, it just kind of prolongs the Pain, ah,

Brandon  01:59

like, stretches it out over, okay, that that makes some sense, yeah,

Collin  02:04

and so, so it kind of means like you have to sprint for a little bit longer, which, yeah, you know, is whatever. But yeah, last week, whenever their their schedule changed to mostly evenings, I went oh, suddenly. And then when they were like, actually, I can't do this one night. And I was like, that was the night. I was, okay, yeah,

02:27

that's the one that I needed you to Okay. Anyway, amazing. Gosh,

Collin  02:32

yeah, that really, that really threw me off. Oh no. I was like, well, oopsie, doopsies gotta Oh no. So anyway, that was a, yeah, so that was, that was last week, very, a lot, a lot of intense stuff. And I look at my calendar and I've started to do more color. I didn't used to color code it based off of realm of my life, like blue is for home life and purple is for work, and then, like a weird, Orange is for, like, all things podcasting. It's been very off balance, very lots of

03:20

purple. Oh no.

Collin  03:24

It doesn't help that. Like I was, I was trying to reflect on, like, how has this quarter been? And it didn't help that with podcasting, we that I we fell way behind on interviews for the other one, and all of a sudden it was like, I'm having to claw back. And because we I release an interview every week, like, I've gotta, you have to scramble, because as you're using, as you're recording them, you're burning them up. And so in order to get ahead, you've got to record at least two a week. Yeah. And now all of a sudden, like, and, and it's like, well, I better strike while people are available. So I was recording three or four a week, and whenever each interview is all of a sudden, like an hour and a half and going, oh, right, I have no time for that. And in addition, we're, like, trying to hire to cover other things. So I'm not only just doing anyway, it's just, I was like, that's where all my time went, dang it. Thank you.

Speaker 3  04:23

Oh, no. So I had that's, yeah, that's what's been going on so

Collin  04:33

and still trying to get things done. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what's gonna happen. We're fine. We got and now, now, of course, it's like, Oh, great. I have a, I have a, I have a car that needs its registration renewed, but also I have to, I can't just redo it online, because I have to schedule a, I do a, a. An inspection, and that takes time away. And, like, it's like, oh man, because I need to do all this stuff. So anyway, any way, oh yeah, yeah. And, well, and it is, it's springtime, or, I don't know, it's supposed to freeze tonight, so we'll see what

05:18

happens. Yeah, right. Like, what the

05:22

heck? It's April 7. It's April 7.

Brandon  05:24

Gavin, my land to live in. It's been the weather has been nuts. It's crazy. Like,

Collin  05:35

yeah, it's been insane. I have been, like, just the whiplash from one day to the next has been unreal. Yeah, it's, it's,

Brandon  05:50

well, the weather last week was so crazy, so many storms, rain everywhere, so much rain, the most rain ever, not ever, but like, rain the all over the place. It's been crazy, yeah, and then like, oh, the by the way, now it's gonna freeze. Like, wait, wait, wait, hold on, what you're gonna what ready

Collin  06:12

for the freeze? I'm sorry I was not. We have some strawberry plants. They're putting out lots of beautiful flowers.

Brandon  06:20

Well, we're putting out lots of beautiful flowers. Well, yeah,

Collin  06:24

I just, I sat down here, and I was like, because we're gonna get another freeze tonight, yeah? And I'm like, Well, I forgot. I need to go. We might also, actually, when I'm done here, I have a sheet to put on top of some plants. Ah, yes. Unfortunately, the old, old cover with a sheet, the old cover with the sheet trick. It works, though. So I mean, yeah, you should definitely, because it does work. 200% doing this, yeah, I'm

06:57

absolutely doing this

Collin  07:00

so that I can have strawberries, because we Yeah, like kind of futzing with them, and they've been going, they're looking really nice this year. The plants are nice big and healthy already and ready to go. And I must protect strawberries. That's true. Must keep them safe. I go, you're gonna make some like. So are you, are you just eating strawberries? You're gonna go, like, make some jam,

Brandon  07:35

freezer jam thing are you gonna like? Are

Collin  07:39

you gonna like, make products out of them, where he's gonna I should immediately qualify. So far, what we've been able to do with our strawberry patch. We had our strawberry patch last year, and it produced strawberry So,

Speaker 1  07:56

okay, that's a good start. That's a good that's an important start. Starts with one Yeah, that's what Linkin Park said. So obviously one thing, but don't in this case, one strawberry. Yeah, doesn't matter how hard you try.

Collin  08:14

So yes, we had a strawberry last year, and so we are on the hunt to make it better this year, and already off to a much better start. So I am that it is, it's promising. It's very promising. We're very excited about this. I just have to protect them now,

08:32

here we go. This is, yes, that is a good step,

Collin  08:38

but yeah, and we started, started baseball this week. So we're in baseball, okay, yes, yes. And one of the team members was very confident in not needing a jacket. And then 15 minutes into practice, was making the hand motion of, I am freezing and dying out here.

Brandon  08:59

See, I wonder. I wonder if we know this person. I don't wonder. It's a mystery. Don't know who could have done such a thing as that, right?

Collin  09:07

Have no idea. Actually, that's the that's the frustrating part is never know who it is to solve this problem, who this person was. And so Megan went and drove back home, you know, made the six minute trip back home to get a, get a coach, and then came back. And she did, she allegedly drive the six minutes back home in 10 minutes, just to make a point. About point, no, no, she was, she was good about going out, and she even, she even came back with two coats to choose from. For this person,

09:46

is that, because she understands the cold and how unpleasant it

09:49

is, she felt immediate connection.

09:54

And unnamed person who,

Collin  09:56

I don't know who it was, unnamed that shall remain. Nameless, felt immediate connection and brought back two coats for this, this individual to wear, which was much, yeah, yes, yes, the thicker coat was selected. Probably a good plan, not surprising. But anyway, so, so yeah, the coach this year is a bit more coachy, bit more, bit more on the coach bro side of life, which is not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad. Our coach last year was just much more of like a Hey everybody. We're out here to have a good time, right?

10:41

Does this one have, like, the official coach, like, sunglasses

Collin  10:44

and, like, wear them on top of the head, flat brim hat, yeah, yeah. There were some. There were some hats and the glasses going on,

10:55

yeah, yeah, not

Brandon  10:57

begrudging the coach uniform, because in fact, related to a, apparently, the update, we're apparently related to a quite, winning softball coach who knew, apparently, yes, yeah, there you go. Turns out, go team. I'm not disparaging the coach. Look Okay. Aaron has been known to rock the coach uniform. You know, it's his jam. That's okay.

Collin  11:19

But I don't know if that's appropriate for, like, elementary school baseball. I don't know, yeah, you know, again, it's fine. I we came in and we were we were late, which is fine, but

11:41

run labs. You're late, like he mentioned it,

11:46

he missed sit down, bub. I don't know. We

Collin  11:49

came in and they were already doing drills or some sort, right? And I'm Whoo, and the trail runs out, and I just said, go into the closest line, because we're in two different lines. There were two different drills. It's going close, and it was his turn, and the coach stopped. He goes, What's your name? And it's my name. And he goes, Yeah, you were late anyway. He was like, whoa. Like, he can't control this. Yes, not him. You need to turn and tell me that. I was like, I already know that. But you, that's what that's what we what you do. Man, do anything about it. So anyway, yeah, it's a little rough start there. Yeah, yeah. But he had fun. Have fun. We went and we got new, some new gear, because he grew from last year, apparently. So let's

12:44

see kids, and they're growing, I don't know,

12:47

ridiculous. And

Collin  12:51

so he's all, he's all set and very excited. And, um, no, nobody familiar from last year at all. All. Oh, wow. Really, all new. So, like, where did those 14 kids go? Like, what? How many? How many people are out here? How many other baseball

13:10

teams are around here? Many

Collin  13:12

are you? So, yeah, so that was, you know, it's a little, I told him, very proud. It's very intimidating to go out into a field with two coaches that you don't know, and a team of you know other you know, 13 other kids that you have no idea, and but to just go out there and do it, you know. So there was, it was good. It was it was fun. And I told him, I said, I think this is going to be the coldest practice of the year. So at least we have that. Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully,

Brandon  13:42

hopefully we don't get any more cold practices like that. That would know, I know it's pleasant, like, yeah.

Collin  13:49

And so we're, we're doing twice, twice weekly, 530 to 630 practices now get Okay, that's a little intense. It's a little something. Yeah, intense, intense. You know what else is? Intense? The Circus, camping. Oh yes, oh no. It's in it's in tents, yeah? So it was a circus, yeah. Oh, there

Brandon  14:22

you go. Anyway. I know you also going camping. I don't this was a segue, okay, we also went camping in the pouring rain.

14:33

Never knew. No,

14:35

no, we did not.

14:36

This show has some strange segue, so I was just double checking to make

Collin  14:39

sure, yeah, no, the what go floating away, right? No, no, we've been doing. We have we've pivoted in the with the kids have been working on, I think I told you. And. We, they've, we've been finishing up some of their core curriculum, and so Megan has been having them do presentations, been doing research on presentations. Yeah, okay, and yeah. So they, they've been picking their favorite stuff and, and again, I was like, Yes, and we just so happen to have an encyclopedia set now. So this is Oh yes, perfect, very, wonderful,

15:26

convenient,

Collin  15:28

yeah, Noah picked his his first one was the American Indian War. And kind of the history behind that? Lillian chose the Great Barrier Reef. The next one Noah chose, oh, well, Lillian chose Florida, and Noah chose castles, okay, and and this next one, Noah is choosing the state of Arkansas to do a presentation on and Lillian is choosing islands and what? Okay, but they put just, we have, we have books about these different things, but, but one of these is very clearly developing a strong theme by one of the children, I'll just say, Lillian. First one Great Barrier Reef, then Florida, now islands. I think she was trying to tell us something, trying to tell us so, something, yeah,

16:33

there's a subtle message in these

Collin  16:38

somewhere. Too bad. Too bad we can't find it right. Never be able to figure out. Indiscernible. When I asked Noah why he chose Arkansas, he said, he said, Because you took it to me have talked about going hiking there, and I would like to go. So

Speaker 1  16:56

was like, okay, okay, it's like, someone's going to visit the natural state. Natural State. It is time.

Collin  17:06

So, so I was like, Yeah, we do need to go. Need to go to Lost Valley. We need to go there. Need to go in the cave and have fun. So that's our list to do. But nice. So I will, I'll report back on how that went. Okay, and he, in the meantime, he was doing his cookie sales that Iver. This went well. We the he made everything. So this is part of his little entrepreneurship class where they're supposed to be doing various items, and and and tidbits. And they had a an interim bake sale for their final project, where they're each supposed to develop their own thing that they want to do, and then they're supposed to price it and sell it and do that kind of stuff. So this was a little practice run. And he chose he wanted to bake chocolate chip cookies, and he had to make, we calculated he had to make three batches. He made the first one with Megan. He made the second one with a little bit of oversight with me, and he made the third one all by himself. So he's very proud about that, and nice including cleanup and wipe down everything. The most important part I get in trouble for sometimes,

Brandon  18:24

yeah, the cleanup part, the part I am not so great at,

18:29

so just walk away.

Collin  18:32

And and we, we went, the thing that we went round and around on was, was, how do you like Pricing for these things. And and I it was, it was, it was interesting, because I was going, well, you know, part of this is just, we're supposed to price for education, of like, it doesn't matter what you price, right? Just have have fun with it, right? Like that. That's certainly an aspect of this, but, but

19:03

you also don't want to lose anybody else, lose money, right?

Speaker 1  19:06

Don't be like, Oh, they're a nickel Wait,

19:10

hold on, right? Well, because

19:11

I was like, well, 1957 get out

19:14

that any more than that, that's

Collin  19:17

part of this, right? We so we calculated how much we spent on supplies, and because that's why, why take an entrepreneurship class if we're not going to do some of this stuff, right? Like, that's part of what we're going to calculate. Yeah, but come on, it's not just about like, oh, I had fun selling cookies. No entrepreneurship.

Brandon  19:35

You can also have fun selling cookies, but you gotta get him,

19:44

yeah, if you wanna get

Brandon  19:47

dark side tangent here, before we go back to actual Are you things are easy? Have you seen the memes of those, like, those, like, uh crazy. Like, I don't even know that. Like, the. Dudes to do like, their morning routine, and they're like, wake up 330 Uh huh. And they're like, like, that one that's going viral right now. That one guy is like, got the mouth tape on, and he's like, don't get his face in the ice water. And then he's like, meditates for like, five minutes and then works out, yeah, then there's, like, more ice water and, like,

Collin  20:27

what are you doing? Why? Why

Brandon  20:30

did you wake up at three o'clock in the morning just to ice water your face? I understand what's happening. What time did you go to bed? I have many questions. Yeah, yes, it's, it's completely

Collin  20:40

preposterous and makes no sense. Nobody lives their life like that. No, they don't. And somebody, nobody, and, and many of those, he has like an assistant that's handing him towels and stuff. Yeah. Like, who is this person? Is this your like, like your partner? Because if your partner is reduced to like, towel handing. Like, we have other problems, so we need to talk. We're like, but like, there's whole segments where, that part, where the where the assistant is doing nothing, but, like chopping fresh fruit for him to shut in water so he can space in it, and then he just leaves it. I'm like, oh, it's also wasteful and terrible.

Speaker 4  21:16

It's also wasteful. What do you get to what the strawberries. No, they worked hard. Somebody worked hard to grow those strawberries. He was leaving them for two years.

Collin  21:26

Oh, my goodness. Somebody covered all those strawberries up with blankets. And you're going, you're going to your ice water. I don't understand it makes it makes no sense to me at all. It's really bad, yes, yes. And so, I mean, unfortunately, that is the like rise and grind version of entrepreneurship that a lot of people think is like, what happens and what you forget the calculating part, and you forget, they forget unit rate. Yes, guys can't calculate unit rate, but they can get up at three o'clock and put their face in some ice water.

22:04

Yes, they can rub a banana on their face.

22:07

Yes, they

Collin  22:08

can do that. Man, do they feel accomplished? Yeah, or something, or something, yes. So we didn't do any of that in preparation for our sales. Good job. Maybe, I don't know, maybe we'll try that next time. We'll see what happens. But we did show up.

Brandon  22:25

I would like to see the, I would like to see the Noah parody version of this. Get up in the morning, play with trains. Play with trains. Read a book. Make some cookies and one cookie.

Collin  22:39

Build, Build Lego set of Exactly, yep, yep, that would be him. But we, we were also trying to think very practically about this, because at first he was like, I want to price it at a quarter. And I was or like, 50 cents. And I was like, Well, here's the thing, ah, I want to undercut the competition I'm gonna, we're gonna make it up in volume.

23:04

Exactly.

Collin  23:06

No, no, no, it was much more practical than that. Of does anybody in this house have change for for $1

23:14

because No,

Collin  23:16

I certainly don't. So that that did play into our, our pricing of we had and, and he came up with, he wanted a pack. He made, he made these little tiny cookies, and he put, put three of three small cookies in a package for $1 okay, we're talking like Famous Amos size bigger. Oh, you know what Famous Amos size would be a good okay, good thing, right? So is it really $1 I don't know, but that's what he wanted. Then he made some medium cookies and he put two of those for a package and priced that at $2 and then he made some large cookies and put two of those in a package for $3 so it was like the amount of cookies. Certainly he he's going with the

Brandon  24:05

man he learned the middle strat, like the United, like the movie theater, like the media popcorns of Sham right? It only exists for you to be like, Look at what a good deal the largest Uh huh. That's what

24:16

he's done. That's what he's actually done with his cooking prices

Collin  24:18

pushing upwards, right? And I know, I know, I know nobody wants just the three little Famous Amos. But like, if you've got $1 sure you'll spend it. But if you've got more than that, you're, you know, you're not gonna anyway, gonna go for the big

Brandon  24:33

one, for the big then at the end of the day, you put the medium ones on sale, and then, boom, they're gone. We didn't

Collin  24:39

do that. But what we did do, we came in there and he had, the teacher had said, Oh, and have, like, a poster or something. And so we went and bought this, like, big, I mean, you saw the major this drive thing, yeah? He was the only one with one of those,

Brandon  24:55

yeah, yeah, driving sales. That's what he's doing. You.

Collin  24:59

Know what standing out. And then the teacher came over and was like, I think, I think his prices might be a little high for for what we're doing. And Meg and I kind of looked at each other and we both thought the same thing of like, premium or bust, like all in here's, here's a real question, did he sell out of cookies? He did. So here's the thing, he did not sell out of cookies. Okay, they may be a little too hot, but, but, but I'm going the person who was sell, who was next to them, who did sell out of things. You know, they had these little thumbprint cookies that they were selling for 25 cents a piece, okay? And they sold out of all of those. Even, like, they had 30, and they sold out of them at 25 cents a piece. And they didn't really,

25:53

yeah, didn't really

Collin  25:54

make a whole lot, right? Yeah, Noah, like, didn't sell out of everything. But he came really close to recouping all of his costs. And that includes the really expensive like we we did later, we, like, subtracted out the trifold thing. Because we were like, Okay, we don't need that. Didn't Oh, yeah, right. Like, what? But like, for there's, like, the ingredient, making ingredients, baking ingredients. He covered all of that. And I'm like, there you go, there you go, see, see, and get some cookies left over so you can sell them next time. And you already have the labor anyway. So we had

26:29

that, yeah, they're already in there, right? So I'll had all that discussion,

Collin  26:33

but he really enjoyed it. He really enjoyed it. And our, our next, his big project at the end is he's going to be selling dog treats, all right, yes, so I have to learn how to make dog treats.

Brandon  26:49

Yeah, you have to have the cinnamon approved taste test, right? We'll check that, right. Yes,

26:54

yes. Loves so

Brandon  26:57

she will probably really appreciate you learning to make them Yeah, right. So she'll appreciate that process of, you know, repeated trial and error. Oh no more

Collin  27:11

little Yes, yes, you'll be very off put by that very unfortunate, oh, my goodness. So, so, yeah, that's we've been. We've been in the thick of of that as well. So we've been doing presentations every Friday on various topics that people are interested in, and as we wait to round things out. So that's been, they've really been enjoying that of I did, we did add the caveat, because we've got all these topical books on all sorts of stuff in our little home library. Oh, yeah, and that's where we started. And so it was like, Okay, we also, we're going to layer in the second source of an encyclopedia, right? And then Noah even took it to another level for his his castles, he we went to our library, and after he had done his two sources, he we went. He said, I'd like to find one more book. And I was like, well, let's do okay. And man, when you come and tell a librarian that you are trying to learn about a topic, they get very excited. And yeah, they like the Yeah, zero search parameters do and, and about the time they started to bring books from the like, adult reference section, I was like, I think we're good. I think, Yeah,

Brandon  28:32

hold on. Save that one for later. It's okay. I put it on the wish list, right? Like, you

Speaker 1  28:39

don't need, we don't need 11 books on castles. I didn't even, why do we have that? We have that many here in the library? Okay? We don't need that

Brandon  28:45

many. Yeah, crenellations, 1250, to 1300 right? That's really, that's when you're really getting in there and like, in the weeds, Hey,

Collin  28:58

uh huh, uh huh. We were just looking. You got to watch, you got to watch videos of the thing, right? The thing, the France castle, the whatever it's called, the one they're building, right?

29:09

You got to keep it on right,

29:11

right, right. I

Brandon  29:13

think there's some videos that I think I've discussed them on this channel here, on this episode of this broadcast. We gotta dig back in there and find out. But there's like, a series where there's, like, modern historians that, like, live in there and like, kind of go, like, daily life of the castle. It's brilliant, right? It's excellent,

29:33

yeah, it's, like, the, maybe

Brandon  29:34

a farm. It's an evil farm episode, right? Yeah, they're talking about, like, farming and the castle life and all that stuff. Yeah, yeah, it's the game, yeah, yes, yes. I get, once again, apologies to our French friends, so sorry and our inability to speak yes French, right? I know, I know, you know, but we just want

29:55

to apologize anyway. That's very

Collin  29:57

apparent, right? Yeah. I. We do? Yes, yes, yeah, that is under concern. Yes, I have linked to this before, but yes. So that is, that is, we'll have to dive into that, but yeah, so that's what we've been we've been doing. I don't know,

30:18

yeah, what about what's what's

30:19

new? There's new with you.

Brandon  30:20

Well, I am joining. I'm once again rejoining the my mother in law lives right next door to me club. Oh so like Way to go, right, right

Speaker 1  30:31

next door. Yeah? Oh, okay, because I know didn't she live like, kind of around a corner,

Brandon  30:38

yeah. They're back. They're back. They're back. They had a bit of a health scare situation, and so they just decided, You know what, they don't want to live alone in their house by themselves anymore. And so they're coming up here. So we were helping them move on Saturday, which is we were moving like a ton of stuff, like little kitchen stuff, things like that. It's a great day to move Saturday was 30 degrees and rainy.

Collin  31:07

Well, it didn't have any worries about overheating. That's true. That's true. That's how we that's how we do. Oh man, it's so cold.

Brandon  31:18

Oh no. So we did that this weekend. That was our big weekend, uh, extravaganza. Was doing that. So,

Collin  31:27

you know, that was,

Brandon  31:29

yeah, dealing with that has been most of what we're doing, mostly Susan's dealing with it. But I was helping Saturday, you know, carry boxes. They were just like those, yes, okay, boom, I carry these. Okay, just point me in a box and I will carry it somewhere. I can do that. Let's go nice. Susan was helping the packet. I was just at Box, yes, truck, yes, I uh, so I

Collin  31:53

nailed it. I can do that. And

Brandon  31:57

they were like, Oh, let me help you. Can't pick that up. I was like, just get out of my way. Just stand back. And this will be over soon. Just stand back, don't I need to help you carry that TV. No, you don't. This is not like the TVs of old. Okay, just stand back and get out of the way. All will be and I'm coming through and,

Collin  32:19

oh my gosh, not a

32:21

console television. Okay, I cannot. I can do this. No problem,

32:23

this movie.

32:30

Yes, that's been our big adventure

Collin  32:32

past week or so. So.

Brandon  32:39

Well, that's exciting. I mean, yeah, yeah, it'll be good for them because, yeah, like I said, they had some health stuff and no good. So other than that, not a lot that's been our big like focus recently, sure, trying to get school wound down, right? It's almost

Collin  32:57

over, so that's kind of nuts, right? So gotta do some

Brandon  33:04

kind of, just get through the year, find testing time, and all that thing. So it's just kind of like, well, we're going and we're doing things like, and we're just trying to keep going at the same like, just make sure we're doing stuff that way. The kids don't get, like, too nuts. They always get a little bit nuts. But, like, the fact that we still have things to do kind of helps keep them, like, in, lined out and everything, pretty much have my performance review. Oh, right. Exemplary. Just in case you didn't know, just saw anyone else just brought the spread that in a little bit. Very nice, yeah, so, yeah, nothing too exciting, right? But my free time this last week have been doing some things, right? They kind of actually dovetail nicely into all these things you've been talking about,

Collin  34:04

like budgeting and product design

Brandon  34:09

and farming. I watched all of season three of Clarkson's farm this weekend. Okay, so I guess Season Four is coming out soon. So I was like, Yeah,

Collin  34:22

Oh, dang it. I forgot about season three. Oh no, as one

Brandon  34:27

does, right, as as I do, because I get, you know, you know, whatever, either

Collin  34:34

I'm just like,

Brandon  34:36

man. So I watched all that, and this is probably the best one so far, really, I don't know how,

Collin  34:49

like, this is the magic of Jeremy Clarkson, right? Like, he's uncouth and, like, ridiculous. And like, I. Brazenly unapologetic and somehow

Brandon  35:05

incredibly sincere all at the same time. Like, I don't really know how he does it, right? I don't know how all of a sudden you're watching our farming show, and you're like, I'm not crying, shut up. I have this dust. Okay? It's not

Collin  35:21

like, stop it like, it's so weird, like, I I literally don't know how he does it, right? You know, I think what it is is because he is, like you said, brash, uncouth and like, just an orangutan on screen, because he is dynamic enough to have those even more slightly subtle moments. They're all the more impactful. All right, like, like, there's that scene that goes around when he was in top gear of he was driving the Porsche nine to eight or whatever, about how the chicken was still warm. Do you remember this vaguely? I'll have to find this for you where he says he's reviewing the horse review whatever. I don't remember what this is, but he's he says, you know the Hammond and may bang on about this, but I was reviewing one of this when it first came out, and, oh yes, yes, yes, yes. Just like, it's this, the nine to eight, like the story behind you're just like he the way he tells the stories and like brings you in and and in that moment is so it's so personal. It's so such an intimate connection that is unlike anything else you just, you have to focus in on it. And he can do those moments, and they're done intentionally, and they're done to make a very good point. And it is, it is remarkable how he's able to do that. Yeah, I don't It's crazy, like, just, yeah, it's,

Brandon  37:02

you know, it's just, it's pretty nuts how he's able to do that, right? And it's, it's impressive, right? Just how it just, like, brings you in, like that, right? So this season, I was trying to find the thing so I could go over some, just like, recap stuff, right? Oh, so this the premise of this season, right? Is he? He has all of this land that is not being farmed, so he wants to farm the unfarmed that's like his thing. Ah, right. So he challenges Caleb, right? He basically fires Caleb from being a tractor driver, and says, Okay, you're fired. I have now hired you to be the farm manager. Oh my gosh. So like, Caleb is now in charge of, like, all of the normal farm crappie stuff, right? You're just normal agro stuff, planting, cultivating, fertilizer, all that stuff,

Collin  38:01

all the normal crops, and

Brandon  38:03

Jeremy turns all of his attention to, like, all the other possible ways he can squeeze money out of the farm, by farming stuff that's already there, right? So he has, like, this giant hedge that's full of blackberries. So part of his time goes into harvesting the blackberries and figuring out how to sell them. He like, makes jam, right? And then he does the NOAA thing, where he tabulates up how much everything costs and he's gotta, he tells Lisa how much he's got to sell in the shop for, right? And then he argues with her, because she's like, Oh, no, no, no, we got to sell it for this much. He's like, No, I promise you, we cannot do that.

Collin  38:46

That's not possible. Yeah, so he does that,

Brandon  38:52

right? That's kind of his thing for this season, is, how can we make money off of all of this unfarmed stuff, right? Things that are already here, or things that we can implement relatively

Collin  39:04

low cost, you know. And I understand that relatively low cost is like,

Brandon  39:14

you know, that is not necessarily like when he says some of the numbers that's like, what? That's not low cost, but compared to the other stuff, like, compared to, like, cost of fertilizer, this is relatively

Speaker 1  39:27

low cost, right? Yes, yeah, no, that's a good point. It

Brandon  39:31

gets relative to the normal cost of agriculture. Like, this is some of these other things are relatively lower cost. Now, because he is Jeremy, does he just jump in with both feet and just start swinging at stuff where maybe he should have, like, done a trial run or two? Yes, of course. But that's fine. You know, that's entertainment value, half right? Where he's like, yes, we're gonna do this, of course. I. That's the speed and power solution, obviously. So his farm animal that he focuses on this time, right? Season One, he had sheeps. Sheeps did not no. Sheeps did not go well, right? If we recall. Season two was cows, cows went better, right? But, you know, season three, he's decided pigs, pigs is the answer, right? One of the reasons he's decided this is one of his potato crops failed, right? And so there was just a there was a field full of potatoes, but, like, they were just, like, half dollar

Collin  40:38

size, and you couldn't really

Brandon  40:41

harvest them, because the harvest, they were too small for the harvester to even, like, pick up. Oh, wow. They tried and, like, they just didn't go back. So if they had all of these potatoes in there, so they said, Ha,

Collin  40:54

we're gonna start the pigs off in this field, and they can just root around and eat the

41:00

potatoes, buying potatoes, right?

Brandon  41:02

So we're getting some value of the potatoes as pig food, and then we'll, you know, also feed them and stuff. But, like, they had the pins built in this potato field, so the pigs could eat the potatoes, right? And then they were going to move them to a wood so they'd be like, Woodland pigs, right?

Collin  41:21

And so he becomes a pig farmer, right? And this is probably, like, the most, like,

Brandon  41:30

weirdly sincere part about the whole thing is, it turns out Jeremy loved

Collin  41:34

pigs, like, oh, like, they're cute and they're adorable, and he, like, loves them,

Brandon  41:44

right? Oh, wow. So, like, there is, uh, trials and tribulations and tragedies with the pigs, right, you know, and much sadness and moroseness, right? Like, one of the episodes, like, I can't even, yeah, the the episode four, it's like the saddest farming episode ever, like one of the pigs dies, and it's like just the most, the way that he reacts to it, and his girlfriend and, like everybody, And the way they shoot it, it's

Collin  42:20

like, the most

Brandon  42:24

like, saddening piece of television you could possibly imagine. Oh, right. It's like, so upsetting. It's presented in a way that's like, distressing, right? Like, just because he's, like, so affected by these deaths, right? Sure, and so he's, he's like, he's, you know, he goes to big, dramatic him. I'm never having pigs again, right? And it turns out they're too cute. He's just, like, just kidding, we're having pigs

Speaker 3  42:52

didn't last long. Didn't last long at all. But, like,

Collin  42:59

uh, there are some like

Brandon  43:05

things, right? So one of the problems was that they are living in these like, he calls them pig lose, right? You're like the dog glue things, but they're like that, but way bigger, sure. And so in there, after the moms give birth, the moms, like, roll around and they were squishing the pigs. Ooh, right, the piglets. And so he was trying to figure out Jeremy Clarkson

Collin  43:27

has accidentally invented an actual

Brandon  43:30

thing. Oh no, that the people that help make these piglet things are patenting and making,

Collin  43:39

okay, yeah, this is probably the most surprising thing in the whole season. Jeremy Clarkson has

43:49

helped with the invention of an actual useful thing

43:55

that's wild. I know he

Brandon  43:56

made this ring. He had him build this ring that goes inside the piglet, right? And it like, it's like a railing that sticks out from the wall, just like a little bit. Oh, so the moms can roll over and squeeze up against the railing, but there's room between the railing in the wall for the piglets to be so they don't get

Collin  44:18

squished, right? And on his

Brandon  44:21

second litter, they do a thing, and the the percentage of piglets that survived because of this thing is

Collin  44:30

so much higher than it was. It's insane. It's like a what Hold on. How did Jeremy actually wait? Oh, no, wait, wait,

44:46

he's done a thing. He's

Speaker 4  44:47

done a thing, an actual thing, a real a for real thing has occurred.

Collin  44:54

Oh yes, it's surprising. Right? It's surprising. Like, I can't believe it. It's amazing. So he's actually quite a good pig farmer, turns out, turns out, turns out, right?

Brandon  45:13

His other exciting plan, right? He has all this land that's like, not farmable currently, because it's like, overgrown, right?

Collin  45:23

And so, of course, he also buys some goats,

Brandon  45:28

whole herd of goats, right? Bang, hey. So he's got some goats now, and he's, like, growing them up. And he's gonna, you know, you have to, like, apparently you have to, like, get them used to eating wild material, right? Oh, really, yeah. So goats, like, he kept using the phrase hard in their mouth. I don't really know that's a real goat thing, but, like, when they're, like, they were very young when he got them, and so they were, like, bottle fed. Well, like, yeah. And, well, they were still, like, on the milking machine thing, and then they're eating like, hay, right? And so when they switch to wild silage, they can eat the grass and stuff. But to be able to eat, like, bark and things, it takes them a while to, like, mature, to where they can eat. You know, goats finished for eating everything. Apparently that takes a bit of time to get going. So he's started the process of having these goats to where he can just be like, I need this field has lots of brambles and weird stuff in it. So eventually his goal is to be able to be like, Okay, I need to clear this field. I have all this extra

Collin  46:35

stuff. Goats. Release. Release the ghost, yes, makes sense. So this is his other plan, right, to do that right? And the final scheme,

Brandon  46:53

right that he does. There's some other little things here and there that don't work, varying degrees of successfully, but his other one that worked quite well. He converted this like random underground bunker thing he has because apparently part of his farm used to be a Air Force Base in World War Two. So that's interesting, naturally fun side fact, I mean, yeah, it's a random farm in England, so obviously it was her Air Force Base during World War Two hat. So there's some, like, underground bunker things in there. He decides he's going to farm mushrooms. Oh, yeah. So he buys them from these people in like, there comes in, like a bag, right, with like, compost and stuff, and the mushroom spores and whatever is already in there. And so they just need an environment to grow. And then that bag cycles through, like so many growths, and then it's like, spent. And then you can, like, compost that material and whatever. But so he decides to go mushrooms. And he buys, like,

Collin  47:53

a lot of mushrooms, well, like a lot, because he's

Brandon  47:58

like, Yes, right? We're gonna do this. And so when he harvests, when they finally grow, he has so many that he can't figure out what to do. Oh, no, they like experience, like this much of explosion.

Collin  48:15

And so he's like, how do we sell all these money? What do we do? It's too

Brandon  48:25

many. Yeah, so he's like, literally driving around to local restaurants trying to sell him, like, baskets of fresh

48:36

it's really funny. Yeah,

Brandon  48:43

so it's really good. I think I think it's the best one yet, right? When I think what

Collin  48:48

I love about this is, sure, yes, it's entertainment as well, but he has really found like a thing to focus his attention on in the life of a farmer, and how it's it's played up for comedy for him, but you take one step back and you go, Well, yeah, how would an actual farmer, like, figure this out? Like, what would they do with this situation? It's not just a simple matter of, oh, just grow more things. Because if you you know his very weird, he does very silly thing of driving around trying to offload a bunch of mushrooms, right? You grow as much as you want, but if nobody's gonna buy it, he doesn't do you any good, right? And it's actually gonna hurt you on the back end. And that's what I've I've really enjoyed his I have not watched Season Three yet, so I have not but like what I have seen from seasons one and two. I that's what I really appreciate, the fact that, like he's able to, he's taking his his eye for what he did to cars and car design and like that ethos and going, now I'm gonna put my finger on this and talk about these. Practical implications, real life scenarios and and things and highlight this that a lot of people just probably wouldn't even think about, yeah,

Brandon  50:08

and plus, there's the ever present fight with like the local government, where he's like, I'm gonna grow this and then I'm gonna sell it on my farm. And they're like, No, you can't do that. He's like, What? What do you mean? I can't do this. What do you mean? I can't grow something and sell it right here. They're like, No. He's like, What? What happened? Yeah,

Collin  50:26

absolutely. What do you mean? No, it doesn't

Brandon  50:32

make any sense at all. Like, yes, we want you to be a farmer. Okay, I need to sell my stuff. No, you can't do that. Wait, then, what do

Collin  50:42

you mean? Yeah, please help me understand what I'm to do. Yeah. Like, what's the point? If you can't sell it,

Brandon  50:54

right? And then that's whole like, that's the other part. Like, the weird dichotomy of like, him, like, like his kind of other side quest here is, like, showing how hard the farm industry is for actual farmers, right? Even though he is kind of, like, kind of establishing himself as a farmer, like, he still doesn't say, like, I Yes, I know everything's happening, but like, he's showcasing, like, what an impossible task is, right? About this like, and that's what the other guy, that Caleb guy, he keeps bringing that up. He's like, you know, there's a lot of people that like younger the a lot of younger generation people they like, want to farm, they like, want to do this, and they can't,

Brandon  51:35

right, because of, like, financial reasons and like, all this stuff, blah, blah, blah regulations on things, like, they they can't do it.

Collin  51:43

Like, they want to do it, but they can't, yeah, do it. And like, that's the

Brandon  51:50

other part that's, like, really maddening. Because, like, people are talking about, like, oh yes, well, there's, you know, blah blah, if we don't have farmers, there will be, like, food shortages and stuff. Like, yes, there will be okay, well, are we going to help people be able to farm more? No, no. Why would we wait? Hold on, you can't. You can't have both of those things, both of those you can't just, like, run with both of those things at the same time and be like, yes, we need to make sure we have more farmer but we're not going to make it possible for more people to farm. Like, happening, like, we know the secret like, the secret ingredient here that's not being talked about, at least in the US, right? The secret ingredient is agribusiness, right? The elephant in the room is the agribusiness industry. Like, do you want independent, small farmers, no, no, because they want the agro business, because that's where all the money comes from, yeah, and that's all the

Collin  52:51

but, like, that's, that's ridiculous, right? So that's least, at least in the US, that's the like, elephant in the corner over there that like, yeah, being a farmer is hard because of a business, yep, because

53:10

there are other forces out there, right? Other things, yeah,

Brandon  53:13

that want your farmland and want to do your farming for you, because they think they can do it better, which they can do more volume.

Collin  53:24

Is it better, though? Yep, right. That's the Yeah, I don't Yeah. Have doubts. Doubts, yeah, well, it's like that old McDonald's slogan used to say over a billion served, right? But didn't say they're served well, or that it was quality.

Brandon  53:44

Are they happy? Just like, we don't know. Are they satisfied? No, if there were a billion people, eight there, right? You know? So it's like, yeah, there is a, there is a thing where, like, economically speaking, like the but that once you get to a certain size, then, like,

Speaker 5  54:06

it becomes, like, this unwieldy mess. You know, sure and like, sure you can continue to do things, but like to what end right. Like, your profit margins become more negligible as you grow in scope, and you have to artificially inflate them by, like, raising prices.

Brandon  54:28

Oh, wow. I can't imagine if that would ever happen in real life. That would never be a real thing anyway.

Speaker 5  54:37

Yeah, crazy, but yeah, so it's again, I think I don't know why this is actually the best show on television anywhere like I don't have no idea how farming show made by Jeremy Clarkson. It's like actually the best show that you could watch anywhere right now. I.

Collin  55:00

He's pretty good at it. Like,

Brandon  55:02

I don't know. I mean, yeah, he is very good at making television, right? And like, that's the other part about their show. Is, I don't think you would be drawn, like, I've watched other shows about farming, right? Just like, here and there, you know, because I get recommended them, because I watch this, right? And you kind of check them out, you see.

Collin  55:20

But because,

Brandon  55:24

like, I don't know to what extent he's involved, I think we've talked about this far in, like, things like the filmography process and the editing process stuff. But this thing is shot

Collin  55:34

beautifully, like, it's absolutely stunning to look at all the time. You know what I mean? And like,

Brandon  55:45

I mean even, like, a little shot of like a rabbit running across the field is it looks like David Attenborough should be there. You know what I mean? Like, well, that's what it looks like. And so you you just want to keep watching, because it's not just that. It's like, presented well, and it's interesting stuff. It's shot

Collin  56:06

beautifully, right? Like, the crew and the camera people on the show are incredible,

Brandon  56:14

and I think that makes a big difference in in product. Because, like, yes, it would still be good, because Jeremy's still there and blah, blah, blah, but if it didn't look like this, it wouldn't be as engaging as a visual medium. And I think Jeremy really understands visual medium. Yes, right?

Collin  56:32

Yep, he the it. I mean, you could tell that through his time on top geared everything that he did before that of visual storytelling was first and foremost, what they did. Everything was, and I would not be surprised if he plays a major part in the of how things are supposed to be put Yeah, I don't know. I would like to know that. I would like to know the answer that question, yeah? Because, because you watched the evolution of that, and kind of what they were trying for every season and everything, and how, like, especially whenever they once, they start to do those big challenges, right, like Africa, like, all of a sudden, yeah? Like the scene, well, just, you could certainly shoot a lot of stuff, of just about the car and driving, but, like, the running joke of, you know, they could never shoot a wildlife, you know, the wildlife you know being around. But like, the scene in the context is just as equally as important to help you understand exactly what's going on here. And that totally makes sense that that would translate over to to here in the form, because

Brandon  57:44

I've watched other, like, car shows and stuff on YouTube and like, online and stuff too. Like, you know, because you get recommended that, because I've watched so much top here in Grand Tour and things. But like, even though, like the presentation and like the dialog and stuff is good, like the cinema photography is always lacking, always it's never as good. And even, like, not just on the big like tour adventures, when he would do those, like, well, not just him, but like, it stood out mostly for him, but like, when they would do those, like highlight pieces, like the Lancia piece,

Collin  58:13

like that thing that that is

Brandon  58:17

the most beautifully shot piece of car content I've ever seen in my entire life is that, like, love letter to Lancia thing that they did. But

Collin  58:24

any of those pieces like that, they're gorgeous. Yeah, they're stunning, right? And, like, I don't know,

Brandon  58:39

like some of the other guys, when you watch some of their independent stuff, like, they have a little bit of that never quite as much as Jeremy does, right? Maybe that's just because they're of the content that they're making as well. But, like, I feel like his especially this farm thing, it's just it's gorgeous, right? It's so good to look at that like, that's why you keep watching it. Like, yes, it's interesting. Yes, it's engaging. Yes, they do a good job storytelling. It's beautiful. Also, like, that's Oh, and you reminded me with the running joke thing. The hilarious running joke that is like all season is his dogs do not listen to him at all.

59:22

Like running around the field, and

Collin  59:23

they'll just be like, Come heal, heal, sit, heal. And

Brandon  59:30

they're just like, they're like, Jenny and Kira, we're just running. Oh my gosh,

Collin  59:37

it's the whole the whole season has that in it. Well, that's lovely. It's absolutely

Brandon  59:52

hilarious. They just are there, and he's telling them to sit or heal, and they're like, running away. Do. And it's absolutely hilarious. And there's one part too, where he's like, they are like, they are running, and they jump over this pig fence, right? And this thing is, like, over a meter tall, and they just, like, jump over the top of it, right? And he's like, he's watching there. But he goes, this really annoys me. He's like, why can they do that? But they won't jump in the back of the Land Rover? Oh, and then it shows him, like, picking them up and setting them in the back of the truck, because they

Collin  1:00:29

won't jump in the truck,

1:00:33

but they like, leap over this big

1:00:35

Oh, that's hilarious. It's hilarious.

Collin  1:00:39

It's so funny.

1:00:41

That's great. See that kind of stuff, right?

Collin  1:00:44

That let, like, timing seven, yes, that's what makes it so wonderful. That's great, which is, like, the dog's never listening. He's like, the best running joke ever. I

Brandon  1:01:04

Yeah, so that's what I've done this this week, I've been watching that, and now Susan wants to watch it, so we gotta figure out how to make that happen. So

Collin  1:01:14

like she thinks if we can get that going. So so we finally been

Brandon  1:01:21

doing that, so, yeah, nice. That's pretty much my week. I'm mostly just watching Clark's farm,

Collin  1:01:27

and pretty much it that's all and hiding

1:01:30

from the rain that has been my week. Really very important

Collin  1:01:33

that is to do that. I recommend that, especially it's been, hasn't just been rain. It's been cold and rainy, which is the out in, I don't it's not good. Not good, though. No, not even a little bit. So. Well, good. Well, nice. Well, I'll do, I'll do a teaser here, because we are in the season of farms, and so I'll do a tie in here. At the very end. We're in the season of of guests, the artist at the grandstands at the Missouri Oh, yeah. And, and I'll just go ahead and tell you what, who is already playing, and so we can start getting our minds thinking of who else, who, who, who would fit well into this ensemble. That's true.

Brandon  1:02:17

That's right. Oh yeah. They were gonna speaking of outdoor events with they were this last Friday was supposed to be the first, like food truck day here in town. Oh, and it was totally rained out because it was flooding everywhere. That makes sense, dang it. Yeah. Anyway, fairground time, yes. What a strange, oh, disparate group of people could possibly be forming, performing at the State Fair. They make absolutely no sense when you see them all together,

Collin  1:02:47

yep, except for the fact that they are a part of the fair. So here's Yes, we have this, okay, um, the the first one, August 7. Winona. Judd, oh, Winona, that's pretty big. I feel like kicking off. Pretty good, pretty strong, pretty good. Yes, we then move on to the next date, August 8, with blues travelers.

Speaker 5  1:03:11

Oh, my God, I know, wow. Blues Traveler think it's a perfect fair band at this point. It's an amazing, right? Yes, 1995 was big for Blues Traveler, and then, like,

Collin  1:03:27

that was it? I don't really, it's the perfect, perfect connection here, okay, um, August 9 is still to be, to be announced. Okay, so August 9, you don't know who that is. Um, August 10 is the shootout truck and tractor pulls. So that's, that's good, perfect. August. August 11, unknown, still August now, okay, August 12 is John Anderson. Oh, okay, that

1:03:57

is also a perfect FAIR Act. Okay, yes, what making

Collin  1:04:01

it even more of a fair act is it's not just John Anderson. It's an acoustic evening with John Anderson.

Speaker 5  1:04:09

An acoustic evening with John Anderson.

Speaker 3  1:04:15

Yes, wow. Yes, wow.

Brandon  1:04:21

I mean, seminal wind is probably pretty good acoustically. I think that'd probably be pretty amazing. That's a pretty good song. Yes, right, yes. So

Collin  1:04:30

I will have to go to that one just to hear that song. Okay. Oh,

Brandon  1:04:34

I forgot about straight tequila night. Oh, my goodness.

1:04:38

Oh, wow. Okay, there we go. Also a good one.

Collin  1:04:42

Okay, that would be good,

1:04:44

yes. So she's

Brandon  1:04:45

been thinking about him, and she's ready to fight anyway.

Collin  1:04:50

Okay, now we get into the same thing that I've a general trend. We get into some newer artists. We get August 13 is

1:04:57

Josiah queen. I. Yes,

Brandon  1:05:00

okay, yes. This is how new. That's what I like when, when the fair says new. Sometimes that doesn't mean you, but I don't know who this person is, so, okay? Or, like, relatively, like a

Speaker 1  1:05:14

yes, like, yeah, like a locally famous, like in parts of Missouri, or something, yeah, absolutely, not necessarily in there, but like somewhere, no, no Kansas City or something like that. Then we get to Hudson Westbrook the next night, again. Sorry, buddy. No clue, no clue. Then we roll into August 15, with flow rider, ah, yes, this is the fair tradition of having a random rap artist at the fair that's really important. Yes, it is really Hello rider. Does

1:05:53

he feature in Lillian's report? Anywhere

Collin  1:05:55

we will make sure that is expired. Oh yeah, there we go. We will cut that out. Then we go into the last two nights are still to be announced. So, oh, the last two nights are not even announced. 16th and 17th, maybe So to recap, here we have some big guns, blues, traveler, John Anderson, Josiah, queen, Hudson Westbrook and flow rider, and we have four or acts to fill in here. There

Brandon  1:06:24

you go. But we're giving, like, really strong. This is a very strong, like, 90s lineup right here. Yeah, flow right is a little bit later, 2000s but like, every and wynoda, I think goes a little bit the other way, little 80s. I think probably John Anderson too, because he's old. I just like, he's 70 So, and his that big album was like 1992 so he probably also leads in the 80s. Yes, this is a very is a good classic fair territory right now, right in 2025, you need, you need 30 to 40 year old music acts. It's very important. That's a target fair audience. Okay? That's, as we determined last year. This is prime fair time, right? So I like this. I'm I'm also, this is the last time I actually listened to country music. So it's, I actually know who these people are. So there you go. This is why early, early to mid 90s, right? That was the last time, once again, just a side note into my music arc. I listened to country music pretty exclusively in my younger years.

Collin  1:07:32

Round about 1994 1995 I discovered the offspring. I was like, oh okay,

1:07:41

just kidding. Went a completely

1:07:45

different, different direction ever since, but,

Collin  1:07:54

oh yeah, I was, uh, who was I was listening to? Oh man, what was their song? I was listening to the other day, and I was like, Well, this is going to be a repeat for the next six days. It happens, yeah, just, I think, I think that's what I think our challenge for next week should be, or next time we record, come up with

1:08:17

later this week, later this week,

Collin  1:08:21

or fill in the gaps, the four missing gaps.

1:08:24

Okay, four gaps

Speaker 1  1:08:27

with a fair four bands. Okay, who will it be?

Brandon  1:08:30

Okay, big fit the fair vibes. I like it, yes. Okay, let's go. Okay,

Speaker 1  1:08:37

so that's the gauntlet. Done, thrown, boom,

Brandon  1:08:41

I like it dropped. In that case, I have a haiku for you. Ah, yes, to end on here. Okay, here we go. Ah, okay, there clouds darken the sky. Rain soaks saturated soil,

1:09:07

change blows on

1:09:14

the wind.

1:09:20

Perfect.

Speaker 1  1:09:21

Hooray. What a great way to cap off the whatever the last week was, yeah, hopefully get a little bit more sunshine this week. Yeah, hopefully

1:09:32

Yes, because, oh, man, that would be

Collin  1:09:37

okay. I'm liking it. Okay, perfect. Well, I'll start. I gotta get my thinking cap on, and yes, me too. I also need to get some time handled. Catch up on season three of Clarkson Clarkson's

Brandon  1:09:48

bar. Yeah, pretty good, pretty good stuff. So I think Season Four comes out next, or maybe later, the end of this month. Gasp, gasp. Did

Speaker 1  1:09:57

you see they're coming? All three are coming back for another. Show.

Brandon  1:10:01

Are all three of them coming back. I saw different things here. Oh, I didn't know there's like, a retrospective thing. Yes,

Collin  1:10:08

that, you mean the not so grand tour. Yeah, yeah. This is what I don't understand, exactly what this is, yeah,

Brandon  1:10:15

um, oh, maybe more on that next time too, dig in there. Oh, and I found another show that James is on recently, and it's great.

Speaker 1  1:10:23

Okay, perfect. All right, watch that. Okay. Well, we will lots of things coming up too. Yes,

1:10:30

things to look forward to.

1:10:34

Okay, we'll do this again soon. Yes,

1:10:36

Not tomorrow.

1:10:39

Bye. Very good. Love you.
