Aaron 01:09

Collin 02:08
think it's something for everybody?
Brandon 02:09
Yeah. Yeah. A little bit. A little bit some for everyone.
02:15
Oh, Aaron, you bought a car? What? Ah, yes. So
Aaron 02:22
as you are aware, I've been driving. Mimi's old car. The good old fashion. The good old Alero. It's it's served me however long that's been
02:38
four years, five
Aaron 02:40
years, something like that. It's I mean, it's, it's been phenomenally loyal. It's been, you know, fantastic. But it just gets to the point where I'm just thinking, you know, too much. Too much money into
Collin 02:53
it. Seven years. Seven years.
02:56
It hasn't really been seven years.
Collin 02:58
Actually. Day to date. Maybe you passed away today and 2015 Oh, you're joking. No, really? Yeah. Wow, crazy.
Aaron 03:09
That is crazy. Holy cannoli. Yeah. So I guess that Yeah. So that long. today. A little back to that I inherited her her vehicle. It's been, you know, stalwart transportation. However, it's, it is sadly just been having way too many troubles. And so, we were sitting there and I mean, it was just starting to act up and I was like, You know what, you know, I'm just gonna take it to the shop. It won't be that bad. Right. And then I were sitting there in Tulsa. And then Shelby's car starts smoking. And so she's like, you know, we can't have two vehicles. Just on the fritz here. It was just a fuel or not fuels. What is it called? Oil. radiator. There we go. Kind of kind of flip. So
04:12
we had to go get that.
Aaron 04:15
towed. And so we're sitting there and yeah, over the course. It's been like, oh, you know, let's go look at you know, vehicles. And yeah, like, we'll look for a little bit and then the scan pieces. But there's it in there. And I met with her mom was with us. And she's been super supportive and awesome. And all this. And they're like, you know, here's, here's this place, you know, here, here's this place here. And this what you look at, and I have connections, yada, yada, yada. And so we're like, hey, yeah, so this is okay. So we can you know, it's doable, right? And then we're just sitting there and just kept looking at cars. And there was like, a test drive. Like, Oh, all right. And so we were we test drove place here in town and we'll also And the moment we get out of the car, another another dealer. And he's like, you know, we all take the keys and he's got, you know, got another couple whitens we're looking at this car and we're like, Yo, really? Alright, that's fine. So we, we looked at another one. And we're sitting there and I've never like truly, like, pulled the trigger on like anything before my life. And so I was like, You know what, let's go for it. And so we got the paperwork, and, and all that stuff. And so we signed all this stuff. And we got a 2021 Hind I venue. 34 miles to the gallon, had only 14,000 miles on it. And they got it like that day. And so they're like, we just need to detail it. We need to fix the windshield and the bumper and get you another key fob. Give us about five to seven business days. Come pick it up. And so we're like, Yeah, let's do it. But we traded in deal arrow. And I got so much money from it.
06:18
$7
Aaron 06:21
Yeah, so we were traded to them. And that's been it. It hasn't hit me yet that I'm like, holy crap, I just bought a vehicle, a new one for that. Matter of fact, and so I actually didn't have work or anything today. And so I was sitting there cleaning out the car. And it was just like, wow, this is probably the last time I'm going to, you know, have it. And so it was a little bit bittersweet. You know, there's a lot of frustration of crap. But now it's like, I remember going on the road trips with Nene and this thing and, you know, her, you know, teaching me how to drive or, you know, whenever you pull up somewhere and at a at a gas station, how she would just look at you and be like, Oh, let me let me go pump your gas mania right away. Hold on. So, you know, think things like that. And so it's it was just, it was just, you know, it's been it's, it's been an incredible journey with it. And so I've been having to balance that. And then this whole job, searching thingamabob, er, although I tentatively accepted a job I'm still waiting on a few more to offer me and then I'm going to sit down and pick out of out of the lineup, or which ones I have actually have an interview tomorrow morning with a school. And so, yeah, how's the Nana's? Like, I'm gonna be on the highway a lot. or new vehicle and it's, I mean, it's not super big, but you know, it smooth that drives incredibly. I don't it's I mean, 34 miles to the gallon, and it's that brand spanking new. Yeah, I'm, I'm pretty stoked. So yeah, it's, that's that's been that's been our weekend. Actually. We did that, that all that transpired. Saturday.
Brandon 08:20
All in one day. Of everything. So yay, there you go. Yeah, it doesn't look what Colin. It's not that hard. Just do it. Yeah, but go for
08:31
it. Anyway.
Brandon 08:33
So I have to measure a cart. Aaron. Aaron, did you go through every inch with a tape measure? And like esoterically think about like, how many cups you have in your life at any given moment? And? Or how
Collin 08:51
the driving of that car speaks to you as a person and what does that communicate?
Brandon 08:56
I'm pretty sure he didn't think about that, like philosophize about like, what is outward projection of this automobile project about my person, you?
Aaron 09:05
The things that I looked at were now I did I did totally, I did totally kick the tire when he pulled it up. And I'll just for fun. That's a pretty good job.
Collin 09:16
I tell he knew you were serious. Yeah.
09:20
messing around. Did you like
Aaron 09:22
a pat it was like things like just slap the hood. Like, man, look at that. No. So so the first thing first of all, overall thing is the air conditioning. Right? And I was like, Alright, does AC work? Yep. Alright, so as it's been 1000 degrees this week, important, and sinker. And so it's got it's got two cupholders and it also has a one of those rear view cameras, which I've been wanting so bad with everything and I mean, there's that he just has It's not it's not gigantic, but it has like, a lot of leg space, like in the front and in the back. Not a lot. any blind spots. It's smooth, it doesn't like you can, it's got like a 1.4 liter engine or something like that. And but I mean, the thing gets up and goes, although, you know, I don't speed anywhere in it, although it doesn't have full wheel drive. Any we were looking at mileage is and what's the best bang for a buck right now? And man, I thunder that was it. So I, we didn't go ham in the you know, let me we can easily hours and test row, you know, 20 vehicles, but I was like I want No. And at first I was like, Oh, well, you know, we'll just you know, test drive with you and come back the next day. But like, watching how quickly does that the vehicles especially the one that we wanted, like, get off the market or just like we need to act fast if we want something like decent and space was another big thing. You know, something like are we gonna be comfortable if we're going to be on like doing a road trip or something? Because that was another how much coaching material can I fit in the back of this guy? Can I fit equipment? Baseball stuff? How many baseball helmets per square foot? Can I feel cooler in here so I can you know get an ice chest for you know those long tournaments or whatever. But it's you know, the space in the back like it's got a lot of room. My biggest thing is like I love you know going and hanging out with people but I hated taking my car. Right I'm like, Oh, I'll go to you know go out to eat and I was like, Oh yeah, I'll drive but I was like I can't really because no one can fit Yeah, sorry. But the fact that it you know this is why I want a smaller car
Collin 11:56
smart to see.
Brandon 11:58
That's right. Like brand new Andhra Oh, sorry, can I keep going?
Aaron 12:03
unicycle? Yes, we have a bicycle. Sorry guys can't match. So that was kind of attempting you know, where, where I was thinking of, of wanting all of this of like, what, you know, long term wise, what am I thinking? Or am I gonna go with this? And this is just something comfortable that Shelby myself get in and be like, you know? Yeah, let's, let's get on the road and see what happens. Because that was another thing. I was just so scared to, like, oh, yeah, let's, you know, let's go, you know, let's go to an Oklahoma City, you know, like, do I have to get my vehicle checks first? Or how is this you know, gonna transpire? Is this going to fall apart? The moment we get on the Turnpike, things like that. So the fact that it doesn't do that, and the guy asked me like, oh, so what are you what are you looking for, and I was like, something that has AC and not the Alero. And he didn't quite get my humor and of the pain and misery that I've gone through. But I wanted something that I can create memories with and have for a very long time. And, you know, I think we found the vehicle. It's been kind of a headache to get because they're like, Oh, we accidentally did the mileage wrong. So you got to come back in and fill out these forms and pay got that title and my hay got my garden. So it's, you know, they it was kind of it was a very overwhelming experience. Um, if I didn't have dad on the phone and didn't have Shelby's mom there, it would have been a pretty hectic is like, Oh, well, you need this Googly goo. And no, you need this kind of XYZ warranty on it. And like all you get it, you can't go without it. But then we're just like, Wait, yeah, we don't need that.
13:47
But what if we did?
Aaron 13:50
Oh, no, you sure? Like you Sure. You don't need it? And like, yes, we're getting rid of it. And they're like, Okay, and so it's, you know, it's, it's been, it's been wild, the past the few days of everything. So, it's experience, it has been absolutely miserable. But give it give it a week or two. And it hasn't hit yet. Because, you know, it's gonna be like, super new. And I'm like, Oh, I gotta go make sure I return this rental. And you're like, No, this is this is my, this is the newest vehicle I have ever been in. Like, ever. I tried to keep it, you know, on the straight and narrow of like, anything white or gray. And the guy's job to me. And I was like, Ah, you don't There's a tradition
Brandon 14:40
to uphold here. And he diverting from the plan.
Aaron 14:45
And so yeah, it's, I mean, I say they send you I guess I need the picture of me standing next to it because it's not like it's not tall, but it's, it's up off the ground. And that's what I That's what we really wanted was to, you know, get up, you know, get up off the ground a little bit. So we're not like, you know, getting out the door and hitting the, the edge of the car, mostly for the Oklahoma roads, right, let's be real as potholes that you're gonna encounter that are light, so feet deep. And that's the other big thing of like, you know, if I'm going to be on the road, because right now looking at the places that I've applied to an interview that one is like 2530 minutes, one's like 40 and other ones, like 20 minutes, once an hour, which is no turn on that and then like, one's like, 4550 minutes. And so like most of it's highway, and it's gonna be super easy, like no Turnpike, nothing. But now, if I'm going to be if I'm going to be in this vehicle, for a good chunk of time, every single day, I want to be comfortable. And, you know, something that, you know, Shelby gets on the road with if she wants to go to, you know, do whatever, you know, I'm not going to be be worried that she's, you know, what, if something happens to her or gets in a wreck, like it's got enough meat on it to be protective. But it's not like made out of paper mache, you know, so, it's, I'm definitely excited hasn't hit me yet. I'm just, I got I got the title, I got the keys, the Alero. And that, when that time comes where I gotta, you know, turn that in, and be like, Oh, here you go. It's gonna be like, dude, I'm not not gonna see this vehicle again. Like, that's, that's wild. So it's, it's been, it's been a very interesting few days. I'll just say that. But I got a lot of schools calling me which also very weird thing. You know, this time last year, people were like, who are you? Why are you talking to us? But now I got people that are like, hey, think about coming here, hey, JIRA, you're like, Hey, okay, you know, you come up with a thing yet. And I'm like, Whoa. Y'all easy. I've never been on the market before Hulu. Kind of ordeal. So that's kind of been a very unique experience to kind of go through the, you know, like, I had last week I had interview one day, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, so I had like four interviews last week. And I have to this week, and hopefully I'll make I'll be making a decision Thursday or Friday of where to like fully go so I've had some some of the most interesting interviews, I've had some of the most boring interviews. But the best part if you want to be a coach listeners, is you get to tour the facilities. And that's I that's one of my that's like, to me, like super fun. collagen. I can see what all cool stuff I got. And I got a look at all that stuff. And oh, this school doesn't have this. So to me, that's like the, like the highlight of, of doing some of these things sometimes. So yeah, that's been that's been my two weeks. That's been my that's been our adventure. here lately,
Collin 18:05
so it sounds like it. I know. She didn't say anything about the button feel or the sound of the door closing and I'm concerned, sterile and your steering wheel decision.
Aaron 18:16
The steering wheel was actually the first vehicle was a Mitsubishi something kind of a little small SUV kind of thing. The steering wheel it the steering wheel was a little small. And it kind of when he tried to put you know, pedal to the metal it you know, it shook a little bit and we're like, oh, there's something that's
18:37
because Mitsubishi has one of the worst transmissions ever invented in the history of man.
18:41
Yeah, that that, that?
Brandon 18:45
No, I don't know why they get it wrong all the time. But like, so every person I've ever met, it's driven me up, including myself has had transmission problems. So
Collin 18:56
I was I was thinking about the DMR day the other day for some random reason. Why? Why would you think about that? I was thinking about when what was the first sedan that I really like that I can remember enjoying? Driving? It was the DMR day because it was not what happened here, bro, but it was a Cavalier, Don't even lie. No, no. But it was like, because it had the V six in it. It was lower. It had that little sport button on it. I just remember thinking that thing was so cool. Just ride. But I was actually just looking up the history of the DMR day the last class couple days for some unknown.
Brandon 19:44
weird when you Google I think ours was at 92. Maybe? Yes, I believe like that's the one you need that. Yeah, it didn't have the good engineer. It was the same engine as the 3000 GT Right.
20:00
It was tuned differently. But it was the same engine. So it was like the sporty engine.
Collin 20:04
Yes. Yeah. I thought that I thought that was when I drive. Yeah. Now I had the weird defrost issue thing in it. And oh, that's true. Yeah, some other transmission issues, too. But
Brandon 20:15
it was visualized myself in the car and I get out. Like, I can visualize the interior of the car, like perfectly in my head.
Collin 20:25
The cool like I've ever had the other steering wheel had a horn or two individual buttons on the left and right side. Yeah,
Aaron 20:31
that was, that was not cool. Because like, your sound would just like blanket and like, it was an actual button. Hours worse. Like, that was a weird as design feature of all time.
Brandon 20:45
Ah, yeah, I'm gonna put that
Collin 20:51
that was a fun car. That wasn't weird
Aaron 20:53
car, whenever you get to golf send a picture of the inside, just so you can just see and see if you can improve or not. But that's good,
21:02
though. You don't remember the other sedan that we used to have as a child because you were probably too young, mostly because you were just born.
Brandon 21:12
But we definitely for a very small amount of time, before the purchase of the suburban. Had an Oldsmobile like delta 88. Really, bro? Yeah. That thing was a monstrous
21:28
behemoth. Like it was
21:30
it was it was.
Collin 21:32
Yeah, this thing is huge. Yeah, that's what that's that is.
21:35
What is it called?
Collin 21:37
Just open Bill ADA or delta 88.
Aaron 21:41
So yeah, it looks like this one insides are good. Oh, man. It
21:47
was like the 85
Aaron 21:50
this ridiculous, Teddy. How do I say? Oh, yeah. This was pre gray Suburban. Art. It was a you'll never guess what color was though. Oh, yeah. It was gray. I'm
Collin 22:05
back. I know. Why will you not download this picture for me? Quit. Alright, here we go. Yeah, yeah,
Brandon 22:15
I remember taking it to the dealership. And I was traumatized. Not traumatized. But I was like, distressed because I had lost a toy in there and then I couldn't
Aaron 22:26
find it. Right. Want to send this man data? styling on that thing really went downhill? I've no, it's beautiful.
22:38
I don't know if it was a five or not, but it was his
Collin 22:42
bicep. Do you see? Yeah. Did you look at the 90s bodies via the 90s ones are atrocious. No, there's oh my gosh, everything's just a round beige pill. Robots they got
Aaron 22:51
they got bad. Yoga is a weird one. Because like, they are a car company that has made some like incredibly looking at some like three, like really sweet cars and the rest of them are just like,
23:09
What is this?
Aaron 23:14
I don't understand. I don't understand what's happening so yeah, there we go. We had that sucker.
Brandon 23:26
It was gray, the inside of gray. Everything was gray, gray.
Collin 23:32
And we traded it for the Suburban.
Brandon 23:35
tells you a lot to tell you which was also blue gray
Collin 23:39
is blue gray. Yeah, listeners if
Brandon 23:41
you haven't picked up the theme there is a very odd theme that runs through our family is just about every single car we have
Aaron 23:47
ever owned. is either Gray, or white. Every single one some shade of gray could be dark gray. Could be lightest gray. But it's gray or white. Only. It's like a meme at this point. I don't know I don't understand. I don't know what happened. But that's what it is.
Brandon 24:15
My current car is white. Just so you know. Aaron's car he just bought his silver gray.
Collin 24:22
My Honda is silver. Now the Jeep is black. But as we know black is not a color it is basically gray. So it's the gray one time
Brandon 24:43
Aaron Aaron bought a car. Congratulations Aaron regulations are and graduations on did your wrist hurt after signing all the stupid papers? Yeah,
Aaron 24:51
so they actually our guy he actually did a lot of the things like on the tablet and so are our First part was, you know, we had to do our little initial thing. And then we just you know what it says sign here, you just click on it. Then we had to go back yesterday to fill out the other forms. Because they screwed up on the thing. And he's like, Well, none of it's working. So it was his hand signing it. Okay. And I'm like, just just be my car, man. I guess. So. My car. So yeah, we sat there and just signed away initial middle initial and got it done. So it took a whole lot longer than I had initially anticipated. Because I was like, oh, we'll go in there for like, 30 minutes. We're there for like, an hour and a half. No, it's like
25:41
a really dumb amount of time. Like, I don't understand why it takes so long.
Aaron 25:46
Now and so that that was a new, that was a whole new experience. That I was like, you know, I am okay, if we don't do that again for a long time. So. And then I got a hold of Colin, what was that this morning or something? Oh, yeah. Now insurance stuff. And so we're getting that taken care of. And it was like, Can I just get my car like that? Oh, no. Oops. That's not my car, man. So there, me where it's going. And I just I just wanted this week, that's all it wants. If I can have this week, I'll count this as a full stressful week. But knowing our look, it's not going to and I might cry. So I'm just sitting here waiting. But yeah, it was it was unnecessarily long and because our guy came out, because we had called ahead and see if the certain vehicles there. And they'll go Oh, sure. Come on down. So he showed up, test drove, and then I was like, Oh, we're gonna we're gonna stay with this guy. And he's like, No, off the financing. And I'm like, that, we I just spent all this time building rapport with you. And I gotta go talk to somebody else. And yep. Yeah, that was, you know, that was that was the weird part of me to go in and sit in the little tiny cubicle for a really long time. And like, well, this is this is the vehicle insurance that it comes with, but it's under warranty, I highly suggest this. And then when you look into it more, and then Shelby's mom and was like, you don't need to go back and cancel it. And so we're like, Okay, well, that can cancel it. And I never seen anyone go from like, super happy for us to like, why are you Why do you want to cancel it? If you got a reason? Like, No, we just don't want to, we want to lower our payments. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for the next like, six years on it. And so like, well, you know, we highly recommend like, give us thank you just my car. So like I said in a weird week, just they just won't just want a new vehicle. Your home. Walk. I'm afraid I'm gonna walk out in the morning. Dude, Where's My Car? Oh, yeah, I just bought a new one over there. Yeah. Got a cool little little putt start never had that one of those before. I'll be very exciting. Like, oh, where's where's the key? Oh, yeah, I push the button. Dude, that's weird to get used to because ours does that. And it's trippy
Brandon 28:29
for a while. Like, if don't? Well, you will, it will happen. You will get out of the car and like, leave it running. But you'll take the key with you. And it'll make like horrible noises that you like, no, no. And then just like turns off like it gets super mad.
Collin 28:47
The children yell at me every time we leave the leave the Jeep running to run back inside or something?
Brandon 28:54
Because it's just if you take the key cuz if you don't, yeah, it's just a push start thing. And so you take the fob with you. And it like it gets all
Collin 29:01
weird. It's like different noise. Yeah, yeah.
Aaron 29:05
And that is the thing. You got to have to learn the trick about I don't know how yours does, but like you can start the car even if the fob dies. It's all weird thing. Yeah.
Collin 29:16
Yeah, yeah, even if the car is completely dead, you can still get into the car and start it. But you can't use any of like, the, like remote features. Yeah. As artists always,
Brandon 29:27
always is to you can like, do that. It's really weird, but like, interesting. So you have to investigate that.
29:34
See, figure out how that works. You're gonna because that's a useful thing
Collin 29:37
about quite a lot and lock yourself out of your car.
Aaron 29:41
So because I wanted to spend time like sitting there like fiddle with it, and like, alright, what does this button do? But our guy that we had, like, you know, we showed up with like a one test or this and he's like, oh, I need your driver's license. And you know everything and then he's like, Oh, he comes with and then he just like leaves.
Brandon 29:57
I was like, Ah, sir, you You teach me how to kind of push buttons to find out
Aaron 30:05
that it was no good. What does this button do? What does this button do? So that we're gonna sit there for, you know, an hour or whatever? Like, why don't we get it and sit there and just fiddle with it, because it's in the middle. The console, there's like a bit. It's not like a gigantic like TV screen. But that's where like, the thing is. And so playing with all the touchscreen features and everything, it will be, like, super, super interactive, and, you know, not janky I don't know, I find it annoying. Right? Like I haven't, like it's, yeah, I'm
30:48
sort of conflicted about the screen thing in the car.
Brandon 30:52
Right? Because like, A, on one hand, it's less stuff on your dashboard, right? Or in your console or whatever. But like, also, like, having sub menus
31:10
in your car that you might need to access while you're
Aaron 31:13
moving. It's not the best thing, right? By I mean, it has a GPS. And that's pretty much like if I get the radio to work, and the GPS and music like, I think it's all I need, but I show you how to sync your phone to it, you're fine. It looks like you had like so many pages of things like probably does. I don't need that. Like, I'm sorry, but like, I don't want I don't need that. So yeah, that's the next thing. It just didn't sit down with it and like, playing with it. I'm like, Don't do like, what does this button do? So that it's
Brandon 31:50
that like, you can't do it? Yeah, you can't simultaneously. Like in order to get like in our car anyway, in order to go from like, adjusting the radio, to adjusting the temperature. You have to hit a different button to go to different thing, right? Like, it's not just there. You know, you can just like resounding, right? You have to like, do things. Yeah. Which is you have to like navigate a system, which is odd.
32:24
Like it a weird. I don't know,
Brandon 32:27
they'll just think it's easier. It's just resounding Wow. And then like, go but you know, whatever.
32:34
But I can't connect my phone to my car and play whatever music I want. So that's nice.
Collin 32:44
Why are you complaining?
32:50
So like, that's a bonus. I don't need to
32:56
have a CI CD book anymore. I
32:58
can just go to Amazon basically like whatever.
Collin 33:03
Don't you miss the the giant 18 pound
Brandon 33:07
book mean? Kind of but then like
33:13
you never actually listened to all of it anyway. So
33:16
you only ever listened to like five things.
Brandon 33:19
So your friends were in the car, they would put in whatever they want. Which is fine, because you didn't have to deal with it. Yeah, drive. I remember I used to set that thing on my passenger seat. And then like when I parked I would like put it under the seat. You know, like, Ah, you couldn't see it. And then like, whenever I was driving, I'm just like, I would just like lay it on the seat. And then I flipped through it and flip things change things. Safety. Yeah. You security.
33:57
Yeah, definitely safe.
Collin 34:03
Oh, cool. Yeah. I'm excited to hear more of your movie reviews moving forward, as you do your long term study. And you have it actually wants to start driving. Yeah, so you bought a car about a refrigerator this week?
34:26
Is the same thing. Yeah. Yeah. Thanks.
Collin 34:30
Mine's less exciting.
Brandon 34:33
I mean, food is exciting. Yeah. So like,
Collin 34:39
here's the thing. I had all the measurements for it. Right. When we first moved into the house, I went through and created a spreadsheet with all the major appliances and their measurements. They're making model and hyperlinks to replacements that we would do like this.
34:55
This is the least surprising thing I've ever
Collin 34:59
Yeah. Using the two to two different options for each one, cross brands and such, trying to make sure that it was like, Okay, these are the Whirlpool options, and this is the Frigidaire option, and whatever each one is you have to have the match, obviously. No, we do any important. The refrigerator has to match anyway. Yes, it does. I, I, so, yeah, it started to, before I left a couple days ago, I noticed that as large pool of water underneath the refrigerator, oh, that's, I cleaned it up. And when I came back, next day, two days later, the freezer, The freezer was just hot. Everything was hot. To get in there at all, she was using the refrigerator side, which was still like, cool, but not cold, right? Yeah, it's supposed to be. So it was other things like you just didn't quite notice it. And everything was still tasting fine and whatever. But the freezer was definitely definitely dead. And we were like, you know, this thing is old. It's really not worth pairing at this point, which, you know, it's not worth it. To do anything with this. So let's just go get a new one. And was like, I looked it up. I was like, I think they have this model at the lows. Let's go get it.
Brandon 36:25
Let me show up. And I tell the guy
Collin 36:30
at the I will say the one thing that Lowe's is very good about is labeling the refrigerator section based off of width of refrigerator, because that's like, the most important
36:40
I mean, yeah, that is the one thing that you need to know. Right.
Collin 36:43
Right. So but good job Lowe's. Yeah, it's very nice. But here's the thing.
36:48
Good job. Collins. Lowe's. I
Collin 36:50
don't care. I don't know. Yeah, so we get there. And I'm like, I have to be 33 inches wide. 30 inches deep, and 66 inches tall. And it had it has to be that has got to be that won't fit into the hole. It will not fit. And we're looking and all sudden we're like, oh, okay, like, all these are 36 inches wide. Okay. Oh, look here, these four options that are 33 inches wide? Hmm. Well, this one is the standard like freezer on top bridge on bottom. And we don't really like that style and do kind of like the water in the door. And so we have here these two options. But then, of those two options, one of them had a freezer door on the bottom that pulled out like a big drawer, which we have, which we cannot have because we have immediately in front of it. and Ireland Ireland. Yes. Right. So I was like, Oh, I have option one. And the guy's like, Well, I mean, surely you've got some wiggle room, you know, you've got more options if you go to 36. And it was like obvious as like noted, duly noted. The whole width which this has to fit in is 33 inches wide. Maybe 34 like Max between this because I have a wall and my cabinetry that I have it and it's not like open on one side, like a lot of refrigerators are in some galley kitchens or whatever.
38:24
Like Mimi's kitchen, where we're just like in the corner of the room but like, exactly,
Collin 38:29
like take up this whatever kid Yeah, exactly where it wasn't really built for a fridge if you just get in a corner. I don't have that. I have a 33 inch white hole, which was the bit this I was like, I can go up to 70 inches, like the cabinetry is cut up a little bit taller. And he was like, the 33 inch wide still go up to 70 I was like I know, the all the 36 inches do though. And then he was like, well sweet. You want this one? And I was like no, this one's in stainless steel. I don't we're not gonna get stainless steel. We want all white. I don't like the way stainless steel looks. And he was like, Oh, let me go see if we have that in the back. He was like, No, it does not come in. He said I can get you one in white, but it will be basically in another month and a half
39:14
poses. Yeah, who
Collin 39:16
knows how long it will take to get to you. And then I was like I was like, oh, when can you get the stainless steel to me and he was like in two days.
39:34
Going ah,
Collin 39:36
all of my choices have been made for me. Excellent. I had I didn't get like I had no sweat that way you know look how liberating you feel. Now it actually was is very liberating to just walk in and then drop many many dollars on subway. Yeah. Which is fine. But it's like I have to have this and it has to be side by side and And it just is the option. And I kind of done some research talking about other places or purchasing online or whatever. And they were all basically the same thing. It seems like all of the lower end models, nobody is really making, because they can't make the profit on that. So they're making just the ones that they can make more of a profit on. Make sense, right?
Brandon 40:21
Like, ah, late capitalism strikes again, like, why would I do anything if I can't make a massive profit on it?
Collin 40:27
Exactly? Well, my supply chains are really limited, let's say, you know, the number of items on a store shelf are decreased, because they can't, they can't provide the variety of crackers. And so they go with the higher end crackers. Same thing with apparently appliances, it's more beneficial to the company, if they ship over 200 or 2000 of the stainless steel models than it is if they ship over 1000 stainless steel and 1000 of the basic white or black, because those are cheaper. So they just shipped hired ones. And that's what they have access to. So when we, the gentleman that delivered it, very nice, they got it installed, got everything hooked up. And immediately we're sitting there and making goes our kitchen Stark. I was like, I know, it looks really dark. And I was like, oh, so the stainless steel ification of our, of our kitchen has started. And I did find a we first moved into the house, I found a note in the freezer, left by the previous owner that just said, love and gratitude. And I decided to leave it in the freezer, just as a nice reminder. And I open up the freezer a lot to get stuff out kids and ice and stuff. And it was I thought a lot. It was like, Oh, this is a good reminder to love other people more and be grateful for every single day. I posted about that on Facebook. And our old neighbor is friends with the lady who used to own the house. So she tagged the owner. And the owner loved the story. And then she made her own post and explained why this sticker of love and gratitude was in the freezer. And it is not at all what I say nowhere near as
Brandon 42:23
deep and meaningful as you play stuff on it. No, it's like she, she put it she like put it there once and forgot about it.
Collin 42:33
No, it's even more bizarre. So this freezer, this fridge she bought in 1994. Okay, so this freezers from 1994. And it had moved by the good run, then I mean, yeah, yeah, no, I absolutely. It had moved about four times. After the fourth time they put in between the third and fourth time they put into storage, they brought it out of storage. And for some reason, she claimed that the water and the ice just tasted like onions, and everything had a smell of onions from the freezer. I having lived with this fridge for four years never noticed this, but that's beside the point. Anyway, apparently, this was a running joke in the family for many, many years. And to the point where they're like don't use this blah, blah. And so the owner's mom, or would come over and would sell them? Well, you need to be grateful that you have like this kind of refrigerator. And so she put a note in there. That's kind of a last ditch effort to overcome the smell of onions that everybody hated from the fridge to make them remember to be grateful for the fact that they had one. And it just stayed in there. And so I have I have I've moved I've moved the note into our new freezer. Did you really? I did. I Yes. I have because I am I am wired that way. I mean, yeah. But yeah, she used it as a way to like, as a last ditch effort to ward off the smell of onions or whatever. So that's, it was funny because then she had said that apparently her daughter growing up, Jennifer, the lady who we bought the house from she had she had a couple of daughters. One of her daughters had always had jokingly told her mom that whenever she got her first job, she was going to buy her mom a new fridge and she said and then Jennifer tagged me and said sorry Colin. I don't think that offer still stands laughing emoji. No, I was like, Oh, well, I've already bought one but anyway. But I got one you see, they do so so yes, the mystery of the Why was there a love and gratitude. Handwritten note in my freezer has been solved. Because the previous owner started the water tasted like onions and they have All right, so
45:03
I mean, there you go
Collin 45:12
which I thought I was that's that's hilarious what a large purchase did you make this week? Brandon? Nothing. I have nothing Okay. Basically done nothing this week. So yeah, I got nothing did you go back and rewatch any of your Wheel of Time series? No. No.
45:55
Did not did you know I didn't.
45:58
Okay. I actually
46:01
started watching something different. Something slightly weird or I may have been watching the
Collin 46:10
Victorian farm thing
46:14
found on Amazon. It's fine. Don't worry about it. It's the show these people. It's like a weird experiment thing. They're
Brandon 46:20
English, obviously, because nothing has ever been better in England than
46:25
the Victorian period. That's just how it is right?
Brandon 46:33
Like, they are living on this estate, because you know, England, so obviously, there's an estate, and they are living like it is the Victorian time. So they're they running a farm with only Victorian technology, and clothing. And in a little house and coal and like everything. I'm adding this to my watch list is kind of awesome. Like it's weird, but also cool. And there's more in this series. There's like other 10 There's one about like the Tudor period. And there's other time periods where people died on this. I don't know if the same people that'd be weird if it was like living on this farm for like a whole year and they're just like,
Aaron 47:19
doing Victorian farmer things. There's three people there's like two dudes in a woman. So they're showing like on the lawn, I watched the day they were like they like found some bees and put them in a beehive. And like, the lady was making cheese. And like
Collin 47:37
there's Victorian farm, Edwardian farm G Edwardian farm. That's one there's war time farm. Why? Yeah.
Brandon 47:46
So this is a series I've been diving into. I think I've seen the tutor monitor a farm before, but it's several years ago, so I'm probably gonna watch it again.
47:57
So I will not be going in chronological order
47:59
as I was in Victorian, and there's an Edwardian one.
Brandon 48:03
So yeah, looks kind of sweet. It's pretty interesting, right? And the talking about like the recipes and like what they eat and stuff. And some of it's like, you could eat that today. And some of it's like, what is that? No, no, that's cool, right. Like, I don't we talked about this when we talked about the Clarkson's farm thing. Like, I don't want to farm. But I find it like farming. Interesting. Right? Like not like large scale modern industrial farming, like no smaller. Like, you know what I mean? Like? It's interesting.
Aaron 48:45
I find it interesting. Do I want to do it? No. I think it's cool to see though, right? Like,
Brandon 48:54
I don't know, I just, it's interesting. So that's what I'm going to be watching is I'm going to be going through those shows, I have only one more episode of the Victorian
Aaron 49:02
one. And then I might go all the way back to tutor and then then jump ahead to Edwardian. I might do that. And then the wartime will be after that. So roughly chronologically. See how it goes. But yeah, that's what I've been doing. I'm watching that. Looking at farming shows
49:26
for no real reason other than it's just weirdly fascinating. Right? Like, I
Brandon 49:31
think it's interesting. Especially older farming techniques, right?
Aaron 49:36
I think it's cool. And just it's cool to see like the technology stuff. And a lot of it is basically just exactly the same. It's like wow, like that's super different than
49:49
now right? Just looks
Brandon 49:53
like more electric instead of powered. Done. Yeah Oh, no. That's what I've been doing.
Aaron 50:05
Well, yeah. Oh, wait, no speaking of farming, oh, I also stumbled upon this bizarre YouTube channel.
Brandon 50:16
It is mostly not farming related. It's mostly like, car related, but okay, they're doing an ongoing series where this dude who he's in Iowa somewhere, I guess, obviously as you would be if you're going to be farming and he is attempting to do a small, like Hobby size farm plot of corn
Aaron 50:41
with only farming equipment that he is resurrecting from other farms, like, okay, like, he's like, it's like abandoned farm equipment. Nice. So he's like, bringing he's like, he normally does this with like cars, right? He's like a mechanic dude. Like his channel is all about. It's called like junkyard digs, I think. Yeah, cuz he's the
51:09
he always calls it God, which makes me think of the junkyard dog the ad wrestler. Anyway. Sorry.
Brandon 51:17
He like does it with cars, like he just goes and sees like, Oh, can we get this old like farm truck thing running, you know, and he does the goes through it and tries to make it run and driving. So they can either sell it or do whatever. But they're doing it with farming equipment is to he's trying to get this huge, like, field of corn planted. So like, he did a farm truck, which might be what inspired him. I'm not sure he like did this old random farm truck. And he's like, Well, I got a farm truck. So what if I got a tractor? So he like went out with his friend and he found this random tractor. And the dude was like, yeah, if you can start you can have it and he was like, Alright, let's go.
Aaron 51:58
And had been sitting there for like 25 years. diesel tractors, so they just like, threw some gas in it and sanded the spark plugs in started so
52:07
right. So the engines are ridiculous. Yeah, then he found like, a plow. And he tried to fix
Brandon 52:18
it up and make it so I would attach to this random tractor he found and he found like a Harrower. Is that the other thing? Yeah. And then he got like, a planter. And then he got the other day I watched when he found the sprayer
52:37
thing. Yeah, I don't think it's working yet. But he like found it and got it started and hasn't like fixed it to make it spray yet. I haven't seen him spray anything
Aaron 52:45
yet. But so it's like this ongoing series that he's going to his plan is to do this with everything and so we can harvest it in the fall.
52:55
That's insane. There's It is insane. It's so it's so weird. Watch these videos.
53:06
They're kinda crazy. He's like, let's just check to see if we get this track to go.
Brandon 53:11
Play. So I've been obsessed with farming videos regularly, for
Aaron 53:21
reasons that are not entirely clear to myself. Yeah, sort of been doing and playing video games mostly.
Collin 53:31
What's, what's the latest on your, um,
53:33
I have. So I have this bad habit. Aaron need your opinion on this habit I have as well.
Brandon 53:40
So I have this habit times, games that are like really, really long, right? I would play and then I will get bored because the same thing keeps happening over and over again. And I stop. And so I'm going back and finish things off.
Aaron 53:56
was very difficult, sometimes, from a story perspective, to be like,
54:02
What the heck is happening and not understand what I'm doing. Right.
Aaron 54:07
Do you ever do this? Yes. Okay, so my biggest thing is like, let's say let's pick a story. The narrative driven game
Brandon 54:20
was a playing the other day. So you know with
Aaron 54:24
Warhammer here, I don't ever really have to worry about I can jump. Yeah. But it does get kind of a slog fest, the more you go on, and the more powerful your faction gets, and you're just like, I don't really feel like finishing this kind of feel. That's why I took a break from Elden ring because it's like, you know, like it's really long. Yeah, and it's like, it's like, it was like Mega easy for me until it like wasn't and then also it was like,
54:50
oh my god like the power curve. At the end. It felt like you're hitting a wall. It's like okay, well, I need to not play this right now because it's driving me crazy.
Aaron 54:58
I'm good. There was a, I was trying to think I, you know, I there was other Red Dead Redemption or it was like the Final Fantasy seven remake game. So like I got into it. And it got to the point where it's like super hard. But like, I know if I started it back up to where it was, you get to the point where it's like, I don't remember how to play this. And I think if I needed to, like fully jump back into it like to re immerse myself, either after like, start over, or something.
55:32
And what you don't want to do that, right? That's like, a whole thing of were like, Oh, I don't want to start all the way over. Because I I feel like I'm very far I've done a lot
Aaron 55:43
of stuff. Yeah, exactly. And so like, you know, when you when you get to those games that are like that. And it's, you know, you invested so much time, and it just kind of like in plus, like, you know, some of those games that truly rely on like, very heavy, you know, maybe like there's a plot twist or you know, there's a certain development or a certain key. That was that game that came out a few years ago for the, like PlayStation, or the excellent. Yeah, it was a game where like, you're the detective, la Noir. And then Oh, yeah. That was kind of one of those games where like, there was a lot of story to it. There were a lot of those things. And like, I didn't touch it for a week. And then it came back. And I was in the middle of an investigation. I was like, I don't remember anything. Yeah. And like, it kind of takes you out of that, that that gaming moment. And so you're just like, I like it's one of those games where you have to like, sit it down for like a year or two, and then jump back on it. And maybe he'll maybe start maybe start again. But yeah, there's those games that are just like so heavy with like the narrative and like, you have to be paying attention to understand like, where to go and like those games. And like you get so into it. So into it. So into it, and then just stop and it's really difficult to come back to it. Or if you're slogging through it, and you're just like, I'm kind of burnt out at this point. I'm just gonna take a break. And when you come back to it, ah, oh, I don't remember where I'm at. No, no, yeah. Why? Why am I here kind of thing. So and
Brandon 57:17
the problem too, is if it's like a big long story game, there's also some sort of like,
Aaron 57:24
weird game mechanic things happening with like leveling, or is there some sort of skill tree or something? That's like weird, right? Yeah. And you like, go back and you're like, I don't remember what I was doing. Yeah, it was I planning what was my plan?
Brandon 57:38
What was my build plan? What was I was doing with this character, right? Like, if you jump back into like, The Witcher or
Aaron 57:43
whatever you're like, Oh, that's a perfect example. Just the Witcher because like, it's one of the things that you better remember how to do combos or how to use magic? Because yeah, so far. And I jumped back into it. Like, I'm just gonna pick up where I left off. And like, I don't remember how to use any my magic. I don't ever like why I am here and what I was supposed to be doing and
Brandon 58:05
yeah, that's, that's one of the games. It's on my not didn't finish list. Because like, I got like a mega far. Like, I don't know exactly how far I but I'm very far to that game. And I had to stop because of like school or work or something. Like I put it down for a long time. Yeah. And now I'm like, afraid to pick it back up. And like, I don't want to start over again. Because Oh, my God, that's gonna be like, forever, but like, at the same time, I kind of am afraid of picking it back up. Because I'm like, I don't remember anything about the game play. Right? Like, I remember a lot about the story. Because it's like, so good that you kind of remember some stuff about it. Yeah, but like, as far as like gameplay and stuff, like, on the one hand, it's like, relatively simple, but there are these like, really bizarre things about like, how the magic works and like this both right?
Aaron 58:57
Like, yeah, like just normal attack combos, or like, whatever. But like, yeah,
Brandon 59:02
the how the you use the magic and stuff is like, so. I'm pretty sure I probably just use like me only anyway, but like, yeah, you know, because that's my style, just like, brute force it but yeah, like, I kind of don't like I want to play it some more. Because it's like, really good. But I'm also like, at this point, I'm like, I don't want to play it small because it's been a long time. And I don't remember how
59:29
it works.
Aaron 59:31
And that's when you get to the point where it's like, oh, man, I would love to get back into it. But because it was a fun game. But it's just like, I like and there are certain points that you get to especially in the story and you're like playing playing playing and you're like, Oh, I remember this is the first time and so it kind of it kind of loses that edge. But I think there's so much in The Witcher you can always immerse yourself and get lost. I know like with like with Skyrim I picked I picked it up And I've been year since I played it. But I was like, there's so much for me to do to get myself a loss. But then I ran into the issue with like, I was I was so immersed in it, and then it got to cut too overwhelming. It's like, Oh, I was gonna walk everywhere. And it's like, and it takes forever and boring and ugly. And so it kind of ruined it for me that way. I
1:00:22
did that for a while. And it's like, no, no fast traffic is fine. Yeah.
Aaron 1:00:26
Yeah. So I mean, it seems like that, like you get like, so into but it was like, I mean, man, it's, this is fun, everything, but I just, there's a lot that I have to deal with. And I'm just, I got too much. I have no free time left
Brandon 1:00:42
to I have the opposite problem with like, Skyrim. Like, I played that game so much. That now it's like, I remember I'm awake. So it's like, kind of just like, you know where to go, you know exactly what to do and some supplies. So it's just kind of like less. Yeah, plan, because the fun part about games like that is like exploring. So after you've played a couple times here, it's like, I am like, okay, yeah,
1:01:11
I'm good. I did the same thing with Fallout four, right? I gave like so much.
Aaron 1:01:17
And all that New Vegas for me. I was like, oh, man, I'm gonna start New Vegas. And I'm gonna get into it. And then like, I start playing it. And I'm just like, yeah. I mean, I've already done this. Yeah, right. Yeah. Yeah. So
Brandon 1:01:36
you know, because for a while, sometimes you'd be like, Oh, I can I'll do some different things this time. But then like, after you do those, then you're
1:01:44
like, Okay, well, yeah. I saw the difference for a bunch of it. So like, I don't want to seek out like, absolutely every single possible different thing.
Aaron 1:01:58
I think one of the things for Skyrim for me, and this is I had to start doing this is just create a safe file. Right before you get to like the customisable screen. Because having to go through like all that exposition, and like that takes to me that takes like so long as shown. Like I was like, so high. I was like, yeah, man, let's go. I'm so ready for this. And then I got to it. I'm just like yeah, I gotta I gotta go. Yeah. So I kind of burned myself out from it. So yeah, that's it's one of those games like, Yeah, this is so cool.
Brandon 1:02:31
But I'm bored. already. Yeah, right. Like, yeah, that's, like, getting to. Yeah, well, games like that. They have a really long opening part. Like
Aaron 1:02:47
it's not good for replay value. Because when you're playing for like, the eighth time, you're like, Yeah, I know. Just come on. Let's go. Yes, I did. So I picked back up
1:03:04
some
1:03:06
Assassin's Creed Valhalla,
Brandon 1:03:08
because I played that game. It's kind of cool. I like the Assassin's Creed stuff.
Aaron 1:03:12
I haven't played it yet. But yeah. Like, I was just one of those ones where, like, it's, it has the
1:03:19
added notice has it like it's cool. And the story is fine, whatever. And the stuffs fine,
Aaron 1:03:23
but like, it's so credibly gigantic. Right? That I was like, Alright, I have to stop providing.
Brandon 1:03:32
Yeah, like the map is like really cool. And it's like really huge. And there's lots of different stuff and everything but like, Yeah, after point, you're like, Okay, I need to stop. Yeah. Oh, absolutely. Then Ubisoft games can be frustrating, because you're like, I need to explore a lot because I need to upgrade stuff. Right? Weapons, right. That's what I want. But you always find like, other stuff. No.
1:03:59
I don't want that.
1:04:01
I want this. Where's this?
Aaron 1:04:03
I was my weapon upgrade. I mean, with games like that, since there's so much to explore. I kind of burned myself out from exploring too much. Yeah, I do the same thing.
Brandon 1:04:15
Because you get into the zone of exploring. And so all you're doing is running around the map, like looking at all the stuff.
1:04:21
Yeah. And so you're like, I'm what am I even doing right now? I'm just like, running around. Absolutely. dragging my sweet horse around looking
Aaron 1:04:29
at all kinds of right like, or if you ever get this happen to me a lot, where you get so far in a game and you're just like, Man, I'm just doing so good. And then like one thing trips you up or like you die. And you're just like, I don't want to play this anymore. Yeah, that's yeah, like I their whole game was like playing a what's called a mountain blade. Oh, yeah. I love that game. And I was just like, Man, I'm just killing this. Bye I, and then I go and I just die. And I'm like, I'm stupid. I'm done. I'm tired. I'm gonna go go home and not. I haven't picked that game up since because I was just I was doing so much and then I'll just like and done. You're like, no, no, come on. I was doing so good, please. Yeah, that was
Brandon 1:05:19
my struggle like, Oh man, I'm so good at this game and it's something happens. I just kept stupid. I'm done my plate. Yeah, that's how I felt about like, Elden ring, right? Because I was playing it. And I'm in like a mega late game area, right like way, late game. And I was like, killing all this stuff. And I'm just like, oh, yeah, I'm just killing all things. And all of a sudden, like, normal enemies are like impossible to kill them. I found this boss and I'm like, I have absolutely no
1:05:46
idea what to do with this. Right?
1:05:48
I was like, I'm gonna go over here and try this boss. Also, like Mega hard. It was like,
1:05:53
Okay. What's why? It's like a slog. It's a grind. You're like, okay, I can. No,
1:06:05
no, no, no, I gotta stop.
1:06:07
I gotta play something else. That's when I started playing Far Cry six. And I was like, Ah, yes, there's certain Guinness is when I needed.
1:06:14
I needed to run around and totally knock Cuba, by the way, totally not Cuba. And just,
1:06:21
like, kill weird stuff. Yes, that's what I use.
Aaron 1:06:27
You sometimes need that break from games like that. Of like, Oh, I'm gonna go and you know, do all this. But like, you just need to go and like play just like, not like a mindless game. But you need that separation. And that's what I used to do I ever I was like, game shopping. Because people are like, you know, go to like, GameStop or something, I go, what do you look for I'm like, You know what, I don't really know, I either want something or I can just turn my brain off and play or, you know, something I need to think about. And there's times I'd walk in, I'm like, give me your best hack and slash, or don't have to think about or your best shooter game. And then their games, like, you know what, I really need somebody like to test myself. Because I, you know, was competent and thought I knew how to video game, but then I looked at it, and I was terrible. So a lot of those games like that were like, You know what, I just need just just want to turn my brain off. Like play and then there's, you know, you're playing a game for so long, then it gets to exam stupid. I just want they're just wanting to play video game and so you don't have to worry about it. So yeah, there's a lot of those games where it's like, oh, man, I'm so I love this. And then you just get to where it's just like, so I'm tired already. Like, war. I'm playing Warhammer two right now. Because Warhammer three, the new game that came out, like, limited, and the big one is coming out next month, I think but like, there just wasn't a whole lot. Like yeah, I beat it. And then like, well, not a whole lot of replay value. Until they released the next Yeah, yeah. Next thing and so I'm playing this one. I've never, I've never, like I've completed this the short campaign. I don't have the mental capacity to complete a long campaign because it's like, a billion hours, right? It's like so and you get to a certain point you're like, I mean, I guess I'm fine. Like, I don't, I don't know, you, like, I've done everything I needed to, like get to the point where like, it's just not like as enjoyable anymore. And so that's, that's like when I think of things like that. I'm just like, I mean, I could start a new campaign and you know, roll from it from there, but those are the things that get like a little tedious or slight especially we're just like, Oh man, I'm going through so much and there's like, I mean, I could I could stop and you know go from there so yeah, never never knew video games still have an impact of this so so deep into my my life.
Brandon 1:08:56
Yeah, true. That's what I did the same thing that's I was in that mode of like, I need to game I need to sort of turn my brain off and just play a game that No, I can probably do that. So I played for Christ's sakes, which is really good, right? It's not that there's not like challenging parts, but it's like,
Aaron 1:09:10
sneak through jungle shoot bad guy troops, right? Do like really crazy bizarre fire crab missions.
1:09:21
Because it's totally not Cuba. You can ride horses to the jungle, which is kind of sick actually. I really like Yeah.
Aaron 1:09:28
But with Far Cry two is a problem where it's like, you explore and you find all these new guns and stuff. But really, after a while, you're
Brandon 1:09:37
like, I use these two guns on and so like you find a new and you're like, that's cool, but I'm gonna keep using this other one.
Aaron 1:09:47
Like, I need like a machine gun and like a sniper rifle.
1:09:51
I'm fine. Like, that's all I want.
Brandon 1:09:55
But yeah, I play that and then after that I bought, I played through the Grand Theft Auto trilogy. Did they release you know? Oh, yeah. of three Vice City and San Andreas. Through that, yeah, that was pretty interesting. I it was weird experience because like, it was very heavy dose of nostalgia playing some of those because those came out in like, around 2000. So I was like high school. College when they came out, I think. Yeah, ran in there. Oh, yeah. In a minute. Yeah. So it's very nostalgia heavy. playthrough. Like, especially like, well, two of them were because for some reason, I had never played Grand Theft Auto three ever. Oh, yeah. And so playing it. I was like, it was weird because I have no nostalgia for it. And I was just playing it. It's kind of like this game is like
Aaron 1:10:52
not great. Like, I don't know. Don't want to have an algebra to boost me. And so like playing through some of it you're like, I could see where you're going.
Brandon 1:11:02
Like these missions are not cool. Yeah, we're like, part of it I think is the rerelease. I don't know what they did. But some of it like this is impossible. How are you supposed to do?
Aaron 1:11:19
Yeah, so that one I didn't really like that much. But if I city I select that one that was really good.
1:11:26
In Santa Fe, it was good too. So I was like, Okay, that's good. But that is again, that's just like I'm just going to drive this car around and
1:11:33
shoot a thing and do this. Okay, like whatever. You don't really have to think too hard.
Brandon 1:11:38
You said like, not crash your car with bad physics,
Collin 1:11:42
right? So that did they for those rereleases like that? How much do they change improve or read or iterate on what was originally released?
Brandon 1:12:00
I'm not sure exactly graphically they're definitely better. You can I think like just like I don't think they did some stuff with the control wheels and like how you weapon select, I think they made that more like the more modern ones. Right? But graphically, just sort of like things are distanced and like Fidelity, right are things that are improved like you can see further in the game that like five feet away from you, right. And that kind of stuff. So I think that's the biggest stuff there. Otherwise,
1:12:42
it wasn't too different. Right? I think I think they have checkpoints more often. I seem that seems to be a thing that they did which is good. I was like trying to be like super good run in there we're just gonna shoot like whatever
1:13:07
so maybe made it a little better to ever doing so it was kind of cool. But now I have this problem of like I have these games that haven't finished. I need to go back and do that but I'm afraid
Collin 1:13:25
Well, best of luck to you as you commence on your journey and overcoming your fears. Well, thank you well, gents, wandered to broke again. In typical fashion. Yes. As is our patented discourse, I suppose. Yeah, yeah. We'll do this again soon. Okay, love you guys. Love you too.
1:14:05
Bye. Bye.
